MARLOW rower Katherine Grainger led Great Britain to World Cup gold in Munich yesterday to complete a perfect warm-up for the Beijing Olymics.
She stroked GB to gold ahead of both Germany and China.
Grainger said: "I felt quite comfortable in the race.
"We wanted to send a message at this regatta and show that last year wasn't just a one-off.
"But it's still a long, long way to go until Beijing and there will still be a lot more happening along the way."
