Final ticket allocation slashed
WASPS have been told their 9,000 ticket allocation for the Guinness Premiership Final at Twickenham has been reduced by Premier Rugby to just 5,438.
That means season ticket holders who have not yet purchased tickets will be limited to two tickets, although bookings already made will be honoured.
Another outcome of the decision is that final tickets are unlikely to be on sale at Sunday's Generation Game.
Season ticket holders who are currently attempting to book via the ticket hotline will be put on a reserve list until the booking forms received during the past two days are processed, while fans who form part of the club's Community Groups and Supporters Club will not receive any allocation through these programs.
A Wasps statement said: "London Wasps share the disappointment that all our supporters will feel on receiving this news."

Diabolical decision by Premier Rugby, who were so intent on selling tickets in advance they kept various free ticket schemes going, but a silly decision to originally allow 12 tickets per ST holder, when they knew they were only getting 9000 tickets.
