Pigeon rescue

Firemen were called to the High Street in High Wycombe to rescue a trapped pigeon on Friday (March 9). It was caught up in mesh and spikes on a first floor balcony near the market.The picture was sent in by Nora Bennett of Seer Green.

The gales last Thursday blew down a Scots pine tree, blocking Dukes Wood Drive in
Gerrards Cross for a short while. Electricity Board workers were already near the scene dealing with another incident, and quickly cut

Swans at the Rye

This is a very autumnal photo of swans on a very misty Rye. Interesting for two reasons, it shows the massive increase in swans there at
