THIS is Chorley Road, West Wycombe, in the year that US engineer Paul Galvin invented the car radio and one of the world's most famous names in motor racing was launched by Enzo Ferrari.

Do you remember this party?Do you remember this party?

The whole of Britain was united in celebrating the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in June 1953. The event encouraged many to buy their first television and hundreds of street parties were held across the country. And High Wycombe was not an exception. Here residents in Chairborough Road have joined together to celebrate their new Queen. Are you in the picture? Or do you recognise anyone in the photo? Anyone with information should call Mike Dewey on 01494 755105 or 01628 525207.

SOMETHING'S certainly caught the eye of these three ladies as they go out for a stroll through High Wycombe in the sunshine in 1969.

JUST look at these plucky souls, rising from the bowels of deepest West Wycombe. These four impeccably dressed explorers take a tour of the main caves, which can be entered from Church Lane and were once used by Sir Francis Dashwood's notorious Hellfire Club. Do you recognise any of the people wandering through the underworld, or do you know why they might have been there? If you have any information, please contact Mike Dewey on 01494 755105 or 01628 525207.
